Reminiscence Program

Memory Plaza is designed to meet the needs of the Alzheimer’s/Dementia resident. A locked, secure unit that simulates a NYC neighborhood with park benches, plants, fish and the incorporation of “life stations” allow the resident to be independent in their environment, decreasing the anxiety that is associated with the unfamiliar by incorporating reminiscence therapy into the living environment, Alzheimer’s/Dementia residents are focused and are able to be engaged in daily routines.
